Couple them together..more detail!

Nice photo of the shortened motor shaft.

The key after being cut from the stock.

Coupler slipped lovingly over the motor shaft. Note: The key is not in place in this photo. Locking the key in required drilling and tapping a new hole for the set screw. Spacers are laid on the motor before the adapter plate is placed.

Bolting the painted adapter plate into place.

Sliding the nylon sleeve in place.

Firmly placing the stop over the input shaft. The stop was turned from a hunk of an old clutch disk. (see earlier photos)

Slip the custom cut splined coupler over the input shaft.

Slide the motor/adapter plate onto the transmission and bolt together.
